dc.description.abstractDuring my stay as a Fulbright Postdoc Scholar at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise (VA) I collaborated in teacher training internships. This paper summarizes this experience from a comparative view, contrasting the strengths and weaknesses of teaching internships between my home and host institution. Results show that in Extremadura the courses offer students more specialization, whereas student monitoring from both the College Supervisor and the Mentor Teacher is higher in Virginia.en
