Resumen
This paper tries to review the urban landscape of Marrakech during the Almohad period, a historical stage of the city that consolidated it as one of the great capitals of the Islamic world. Although the city had already been delimited and configured by the Almoravids, the Almohad installation meant a structural transformation of it, a fact that was mainly marked by two aspects: the legacy of a city symbolically imbued with the enemy essence and the adaptation to the new ruling power with its own needs. Likewise, we analyze the glow of his Almohad identity at the beginning of the Modern Age, especially during the Saadi period
