Dentro del marco de la psicosocioeconomía, se propone un marco teórico en el que se plantea una nueva combinación de los arquetipos clásicos, como expresión del inconsciente colectivo y como elementos que pueden ayudar a entender el desarrollo humano, individual y colectivo.
Estos arquetipos, que también son clave en las identidades de los hombres, son el Inocente, el Huérfano, el Vagabundo, el Cuidador, el Amante, el Guerrero, el Mago y el Rey.
El arquetipo del Cuidador, que renombra al clásico Mártir, es un elemento esencial en el rol e identidad de padre cuidador. En la interacción de la psique, con el comportamiento individual y colectivo, se observa con la evidencia reciente como una política pública permite que este arquetipo surja y adquiera cierto peso en función de las características determinadas del sistema de permiso parentales. Los permisos parentales iguales, intransferibles, pagados al 100%, con una parte amplia de uso sucesivo y con una extensión considerable de tiempo en el primer año de vida del bebé permiten que poco a poco más hombres cuiden de forma autónoma y se generalice el homo curans en la sociedad, condición necesaria para la eliminación de la división sexual del trabajo.
Within the framework of psycho-socioeconomics, the theoretical framework proposes a new combination of classical archetypes, which are an expression of the collective unconscious, as elements that may help to understand human development, both for men and women. These archetypes, which are also key to men’s identities, are the Innocent, the Orphan, the Wanderer, the Caregiver, the Lover, the Warrior, the Magician and the King. The archetype of the Caregiver, which renames the classic Martyr, is an essential element in the role and identity of the caring father. In the interplay of the psyche, with individual and collective behaviour, recent evidence shows how public policy allows this archetype to emerge and acquire some weight depending on particular characteristics of the parental leave system. Equal, non-transferable, 100% paid parental leave, with a large share of successive use and with a considerable extension of time in the first year of the baby’s life, gradually allows more and more men to take care of their children autonomously and homo curans to become generalised in society, a necessary condition for the elimination of the sexual division of labour.
