dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the main environmental and social challenges involved in fashion supply-chain management and explores potential sustainable solutions to be integrated in every step of the supply-chain. Firstly, the paper gives an introduction to the current social and environmental planet crisis, followed by a literature review of topics related to sustainability, business, fashion supply chain management and social and environmental challenges in the supply chain system. The outcome of the literature review is a model proposal for a ‘sustainable supply-chain management model’. A Delphi study conducted with fashion industry and corporate social responsibility professionals allows the researcher to explore the model further and understand the existing limitations of incorporating sustainability in fashion supply-chain management.en
