La orientación profesional y para el emprendimiento se presenta en la actualidad como un recurso importante para la inserción y mejora de la empleabilidad. Cada vez, tiene más relevancia y hay mayor consciencia de la importancia de estos servicios desde los ayuntamientos locales, a través de la Agencia de Empleo y Desarrollo Local, por lo que es de gran interés que se realicen valoraciones del servicio y se establezcan propuestas de mejora al respecto. Por todo ello, con el Trabajo de Fin de Máster se pretende analizar, por un lado, la situación actual del Servicio de Orientación profesional y para el emprendimiento y plantear propuestas de mejora objetivas y realistas en pro de mejorar la empleabilidad y el desarrollo social y comunitario en el municipio de Teror, perteneciente a la isla de Gran Canaria - España. Se busca maximizar los puntos fuertes y mejorar las posibles dificultades o debilidades que puedan estar ocurriendo en el mismo. En esta investigación evaluativa cualitativa, se ha recurrido a una metodología participativa, tanto por parte de la ciudadanía como por parte del personal técnico del servicio, utilizando cuestionarios de valoración y un análisis DAFO. Los resultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto la necesidad de definir objetivos claros y promocionar, más aún, este Servicio puesto que no termina de llegar a la ciudadanía, concluyendo que se hace necesario crear consciencia de su utilidad para mejorar la empleabilidad de la ciudadanía local y, por otro lado, se hace necesario eliminar la instrumentalización que se hace de la Agencia de Empleo y Desarrollo Local en el desarrollo de tareas que nada tiene que ver con sus competencias.
Professional and entrepreneurship guidance is currently presented as an important resource for insertion and improvement of employability. It is increasingly relevant and there is greater awareness of the importance of these services from local town councils, through the Employment and Local Development Agency, which is why it is of great interest that evaluations of the service are carried out and proposals are established. improvement in this regard. For all these reasons, the Master's Final Project aims to analyze, on the one hand, the current situation of the Professional and Entrepreneurship Guidance Service and to propose objective and realistic improvement proposals in order to improve employability and social and community in the municipality of Teror, belonging to the island of Gran Canaria – Spain. The aim is to maximize the strengths and improve the possible difficulties or weaknesses that may be occurring in it. In this qualitative evaluative research, a participatory methodology has been used, both by citizens and by the service's technical staff, using assessment questionnaires and a SWOT analysis. The results obtained highlight the need to define clear objectives and promote, even more, this Service since it does not end up reaching the citizens, concluding that it is necessary to create awareness of its usefulness to improve the employability of local citizens and on the other hand, it is necessary to eliminate the instrumentalization that is made of the Agency for Employment and Local Development in the development of tasks that have nothing to do with it. with their competencies.
