Gas turbines are widely used in Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) platforms for oil and gas production, which are intermittent and require high availability of this turbomachineries for safe and reliable operation. This work aims to present a thermodynamic diagnostic methodology for gas turbines. A computational model of a 30.7MW turbogenerator was developed in MATLAB/Simulink with the assistance of the T-MATS library, whose goal is to generate data to feed a neural network responsible for diagnosis. The proposed model consists of two neural networks operating in parallel, one for regression and the other for classification. The first aims to fit the turbine behavior; the second aims to identify and classify faults. The networks showed good performance for the problems under study, generating MSE lower than 5x10-6 for the regression network and a relative error of 0.37% for the classification network.
