El artículo parte de la relación entre la configuración del paisaje y del territorio y la visualidad determinada por la perspectiva lineal. Este ejercicio cultural legitima la apropiación instrumental de la naturaleza. De ahí que se proponga ligar el surgimiento del Antropoceno a la invención de la perspectiva renacentista. Con la aparición de la imagen algorítmica la centralidad del sujeto humanista llega a su fin. La imagen algorítmica invisibiliza las consecuencias de los procesos de destrucción medioambientales. La mirada aérea que implementan programas como Google Earth genera formas de distanciamiento frente al territorio y las culturas que lo habitan. Se repasan algunas prácticas artísticas que pueden ser abordadas como estrategias de contra-visualidad para ver y co-habitar el mundo más allá de las lógicas de dominio y explotación de la vida del planeta.
The article explores the relationship between the configuration of the landscape and the territory and the visuality determined by the linear perspective. This cultural exercise legitimates the instrumental appropriation of nature. It is therefore proposed to link the emergence of the Anthropocene to the invention of the Renaissance perspective. With the appearance of the algorithmic image the centrality of the humanist subject comes to an end. The algorithmic image conceals the consequences of environmental destruction processes. The aerial view implemented by programs such as Google Earth generates forms of distance from the territory and the cultures that inhabit it. Some artistic practices are reviewed that can be approached as strategies of counter-visuality to see and co-inhabit the world beyond the logics of domination and exploitation of life on the planet.
