Resumen
El análisis de la obra del escritor chileno-austriaco Erich Rosenrauch (1931-1978) se establece en tres dimensiones: distopía, universidad y sexualidad. La preocupación del escritor se expande también en otros contornos, desde el consumo, la imaginación pornográfica, la filiación por los objetos, el fin de la solidaridad y la decadencia institucional. La narrativa de Rosenrauch no se agota en el lenguaje y trasciende en la problematización de cuestiones psicológicas, sociales y culturales,cifradas en una apuesta literaria radical en la exploración de la psicología humana y el ejercicio del poder. A través de la exploración de sus ocho novelas se indaga en objetos de estudio que han pasado casi inadvertidos dentro de los estudios literarios, rescatando el importante legado de Rosenrauch en la narrativa chilena y, por extensión, en la prosa iberoamericana de la segunda mitad del siglo XX.
This study analyzes the work of the Chilean-Austrian writer Erich Rosenrauch (1931-1978) in three dimensions: dystopia, university, and sexuality. The author's aesthetic interests deal with other topics: consumerism, pornographic imagination, the origin of objects, the loss of solidarity and institutional degradation. This research identifies how Rosenrauch's narrative is not exhausted in language, exposing the problematization of psychological, social, and cultural issues within a radical literary proposal that explores human psychology and the exercise of sociopolitical power. The study of Rosenrauch's eight novels has been little analyzed in Literary Studies. Therefore, it is important to rescue the legacy of this writer and his relevance in Chilean narrative and, by extension, within the Ibero-American Literature of the second half of the twentieth century.
