L’objectif de cette étude est l’analyse des ornements et de certains aspects de la technique des corniches du territoire examiné sur une dimension chronologique large (iie s. a.C. - iie s. p.C.). Mis à part les corniches à denticules de premier style, les décors à motifs végétaux débutent à la fin de l’époque augustéenne. C’est toutefois durant la période du Quatrième style que les corniches associées aux peintures présentent les ornements les plus complexes, réalisés avec des techniques diverses (moulage, modelage et peinture) qui peuvent être combinées de différentes manières dans le même décor. Pendant le iie s. p.C., en revanche, on constate la présence de corniches entièrement peintes.
The objective of this study is the analysis of the ornaments and certain aspects of the technique of the cornices of the area, over a wide period of time (2nd century a.C. - 2nd century p.C.). Apart from the cornices with dentils of the 1st style, the decoration with vegetal motifs begins at the end of the Augustan period. During the periode of the 4th style, the cornices associated with paintings present the most complex ornaments, made with various techniques: molding, modeling and painting, which can be combined in a single cornice. In the 2nd century a.C. completely painted cornices are found.
