    Retos para la inclusión de los y las jóvenes: la intervención educativa

    El presente artículo, expone las dificultades de inclusión de los jóvenes en nuestra sociedad actual. Sus factores de riesgo entre los que pueden destacarse, el acceso al empleo, a una vivienda, el género, la condición de inmigrante, la falta de sintonía entre los recursos de la Administración y las necesidades reales de los jóvenes y el papel destacado de la burocracia en estos procesos. Nos llevan a tomar conciencia de la dificultad del momento, de la dificultad de lograr transiciones exitosas hacia la vida adulta. En este estudio, se propone la educación como vehículo de integración para los jóvenes, y a través de un ejemplo, el Proyecto de Educación de Calle de Nueva Segovia, destacándose aquellos factores que merecen nuestra atención a la hora de abordar el trabajo con los jóvenes.

    Segovia, ciudad de la humanidad como patrimonio. Participación ciudadana entorno al bien común

    Este artículo propone ser un paseo por la Segovia, de la que escribe María Zambrano, que recuerda desde la distancia en La ciudad ausente y añora en Un lugar en la palabra, Segovia. Segovia sueño y verdad. La ciudad no solo es historia, palpita, vive y camina hacia un lugar de encuentro netamente humano. Ese espacio público engarza pasado y futuro con la juntura, con el Ayuntamiento, casa común que aúna y que pretende, al amparo de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y con la Agenda Urbana como sentido, orientar sus pasos hacia el bien común. El trabajo social y el E-social work proponen estrategias de participación y gobernanza. Mediante la autenticidad de la transparencia, la colaboración en un mundo compartido, el rigor de la intervención y la evaluación basada en los hechos, lograr sobre todo a través de la comunicación, una convivencia más armoniosa en la ciudad. Ciudad que son sus habitantes y el entorno que la protege y ha de ser cuidado desde ahora y para las generaciones venideras.

    The Pandemic of Undesired Loneliness: New Strategies from Digital Social Work

    The pandemic of unwanted loneliness is tackled in this chapter from the perspective of social work, analysing its factors and proposing professional strategies to solve this reality suffered by many people. The greatest poverty of this century in societies where, paradoxically, we are more connected and at the same time more dehumanised, is loneliness. Analysing diverse circumstances and adverse situations that some people experience, the aim of the chapter is to analyse some categories present in the lives of people who feel isolated and unable to overcome an unwanted situation and to propose alternatives based on collaborative communication and information and communications technology (ICTs). Social networks, as a facilitating element of digital social work, have to address digital and relational illiteracy. The central core of intervention is to create, reconstitute, and strengthen ties between people. Starting from the capacity of the person, the social worker focuses on a process of improving the quality of life and facilitating a better civic coexistence by identifying creative and innovative strategies based on very practical and achievable objectives. A central theme of this chapter proposes that the humanised community is the reflection of a transformation with social and technological tools favouring prevention, autonomy, and the common good.

These strategies seek to enhance convergence and congregation with the aim of achieving the best possible outcome from a thesis-antithesis-synthesis approach, a priority of digital social work.

    Estado de bienestar, cambio familiar, pobreza y exclusión social en España en el marco comparado europeo

    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el proceso de exclusión social a través de la incidencia de la pobreza en relación con el cambio familiar en España en el marco comparado europeo. Para ello en primer lugar se realizará una breve reflexión teórica sobre los conceptos de exclusión/inclusión social en el contexto de cambio familiar de los diferentes regímenes de bienestar europeos a partir de las principales aportaciones de la literatura científica española y europea. Con tan fin se analizará la evolución que han tenido los indicadores de protección social en los diferentes países europeos, así como la incidencia de la pobreza y exclusión social en determinados colectivos con mayor riesgo de exclusión social. Se prestará especial atención a la incidencia de la pobreza infantil y a la exclusión social desde una perspectiva de género, ya que son temas prioritarios en la agenda europea. En definitiva, el objetivo fundamental de este artículo es presentar los cambios experimentados por el sistema de protección social del Estado de bienestar español en relación con el cambio familiar y la incidencia de la pobreza y por tanto de la exclusión social a partir de los datos aportados por diferentes fuentes europeas. Finalmente se presentarán propuestas de actuación a favor de la inclusión social de los individuos y de las familias.

    Social interaction through technology, professional intervention through digital tools, and reorganization of public and private organizations to digitalize their procedures and work with reliable and robust data are three processes that coexist and feed off each other, giving rise to the development of what has been called digital social work. In this article, we briefly analyze someof the characteristics of digital social work, the challenges faced in di gitalized societies, and the broadening of the debate on digital divide, which goes beyond access issues, and focuses on what is now considered a key challenge for social welfare: digital vulnerability.

    Strategies of educational and social intervention in conditions of vulnerability: Ukraine, memory and hope

    With the start of the war in Ukraine in 2014, or rather its second phase from 2022, it led to the largest displacement of population on European territory since the Second World War (UNHCR). The EU has strengthened its policy of assisting refugees in various EU member states with the aim of promoting better social and legal protection for persons of Ukrainian origin. In this context, the aim of this article is to present the experience of solidarity actions in the university environment and the social actors who have intervened in this situation through educational strategies, training and services (A&S), as well as the analysis of the model of providing social services through Reception, Care and Referral Centers of Displaced Ukrainians (CREADE) at the Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration. Several conclusions can be drawn from this experience of educational and social work: the coordinated implementation and subsequent evaluation of joint plans and actions of social services at the local and community levels improves the impact on the model of social assistance, and therefore on the well-being of displaced persons, because they feel that their needs are met and that they are cared for, regardless of the situation in which they find themselves; greater involvement in the process is achieved by assessing the needs of the affected people themselves; and the values of citizenship and social responsibility are strengthened through solidarity and learning activities through socio-educational strategies using the Learning and Service (A&S) methodology.

    From charity to social development: associations and local government in the city of Segovia (Spain)

    Collaboration between associations of a municipality and local administrations is a priority objective in local development programs in Spain. Social workers play a fundamental role, since the social services of the administrations develop programs that promote citizen participation. In this article, we present the results of a project to stimulate partnerships in the city of Segovia, Spain, analyzing to what extent the proposed collaboration model is based on a model of sustainable development based on democratic citizenship.
