En este artículo se analizarán los puntos en común entre ambos, resaltando cómo Baudelaire y Ortega comparten la dialéctica entre «lo nuevo» y «lo viejo» y cómo ambos encuentran en el arte el camino para su resolución.Ortega y Gasset’s thought, considered as an attempt to reconcile tradition and modernity, reveals the influence of one of the leading figures in the theories of literary and aesthetic modernism: Charles Baudelaire.
