Resumen
Este proyecto tiene como finalidad la creación de un dispositivo para ser portado por cabezas de ganado, preferentemente bovinos. Su función principal es tratar de impedir un ataque de un depredador, detectándolo basándose en los movimientos y biorritmos del animal, y evitándolo mediante la emisión de una secuencia de señales acústicas y luminosas con la intención de asustar al atacante. Como función secundaria, el dispositivo recabará datos del animal, su posición GPS, su movimiento y ciertos valores biométricos (pulso, saturación en sangre y temperatura). El dispositivo se comunicará regularmente mediante tecnología LoRa/LoRaWAN, con un punto de acceso situado en el rango de comunicación de esta red, que enviará a Internet los datos recogidos durante el tiempo que el animal lleve puesto el dispositivo, e informará de las acciones de ahuyentado de depredadores que se produzcan. El dispositivo también utilizará esta tecnología para comunicarse con otros dispositivos cercanos, e intercambiar información.
The aim of this project is to create a device to be carried by livestock, preferably cattle. Its main function is to try to prevent an attack by a predator, detecting it based on the animal's movements and biorhythms, and avoiding it by emitting a sequence of acoustic and light signals with the intention of scaring off the attacker. As a secondary function, the device will collect data from the animal, its GPS position, its movement and certain biometric values (pulse, blood saturation and temperature). The device will communicate regularly via LoRa/LoRaWAN technology, with an access point located in the communication range of this network, which will send to the Internet the data collected during the time the animal is wearing the device, and will report the predator repelling actions that take place. The device will also use this technology to communicate with other nearby devices and exchange information.
