I emphasize the significance of interaction as related to context by discussing discursive phenomena such as politeness, power, and affect, along with their roles in defining interpersonal relationships. My objective is to examine Mary Shelley’s literary work Frankenstein as an adequate source for the study of communicative strategies and patterns in relation to human nature.
