En este artículo se pretende dar una visión general de todas ellas, empezando por la única llevada a cabo contra el Reino de Marruecos, la llamada “Guerra de África (1859-1860)”, para continuar con las desarrolladas contra las tribus rebeldes a la autoridad del Sultán, que culminan con la pacificación del territorio y el definitivo establecimiento del Protectorado en 1927.In the Spanish Military History, the campaigns fought by the Spanish army in Moroccan territory occupy a preeminent place, with relevant impact in the domestic politics of our homeland, and whose consequences stretch out to the present days.
