Resumen
El presente estudio es un balance de la investigación prehistórica en Asturias; se establece un marco de las principales etapas de esta actividad y de sus principales rasgos. Para ello se relatan los trabajos principales que se han realizado durante el siglo XX en el campo de la Prehistoria, se explica el marco administrativo que los contextualiza y se ofrece una valoración de sus resultados.
The present study is an assessment of prehistoric research in Asturias which aims to establish a framework of the main stages of this activity and its main features. We describe the major works that have been made during the twentieth century in the field of prehistory, explain the administrative framework that contextualizes them, and provide an appraisal of the results.
